Non Invasive Rhinoplasty

Patients that want to transform their nose, without having surgery, can have noninvasive rhinoplasty. The doctor numbs the top of the nose and injects filler, such as Radiesse or Voluma or Bellafill, at specific points on the nose. The injection points depend on the amount of correction the patient desires. The fillers fill-in depressions, eliminate humps, change the angle of the nose tip and make the nose look straighter. The length of the results depends on the type of filler used by the doctor. This treatment is also called a “liquid nose job” and lets patients determine if they like the results of rhinoplasty without undergoing a surgical procedure.

Ideal candidates include patients that are not happy with the shape of their nose, people who don’t have the appropriate amount of time to take off work to recover from the surgery, anyone who wants the results of rhinoplasty without having to go under the knife/have surgery and anyone who is not sure if they want the permanent effects of surgical rhinoplasty.

The cost varies by the amount and type of filler used, any fees charged by the doctor or the facility and the area of the country where the treatment in performed. In general, the cost is anywhere from $400-$1050.

There is no downtime after having noninvasive rhinoplasty and patients can return to work immediately. A person can expect to have mild swelling and bruising as well as redness and a tender nose for around 2 weeks. The results last from 10-12 months if Radiesse is used and 24 months if Voluma is used by the doctor before they are absorbed by the body. Bellafill is formulated to be difficult for the body to absorb so patients can expect the results to last for up to a decade.
