Injectable Fillers

Ideal candidates have moderate to severe folds or wrinkles, nasolabial folds, sunken cheeks due to a loss of cheek volume, thin or unevenly shaped lips, a receding chin or minor nose deformities such as a nasal hump. Patients that smoke, have a history of extreme allergies or have an infection in or near the planned injection sites are not good candidates.

The typical cost of injectable fillers ranges from $400-$2000.The final cost depends on the type of filler used, the amount of filler that is injected, any fees charged by the doctor or the facility, the geographic location of the procedure and if other procedures are performed at the same time.

Dermal fillers provide a smooth and youthful look. In most cases, the patient can resume regular activities right away. It is generally recommended that intense physical activity be avoided for the first 24-48 hours. Swelling, bruising and redness can occur shortly after the procedure but these conditions dissipate within a week. Patients should refrain from rubbing or massaging the injection area for about 24 hours. The results of the procedure generally last between six to eighteen months.
