Non-Surgical Butt Lifts in 2020

See the different types of non surgical butt liftsBefore we take a look at the latest trends in non-surgical butt lifts, let’s review how surgical butt lifts are performed so it will be easier to see the difference in the steps involved in achieving the final results.

A surgical Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is performed using liposuction and fat grafting. Excess fat is removed from other areas on the body of the patient, such as the upper back, abdomen and flanks, though the use of liposuction. The fat is then purified before it is injected into the buttocks of a patient to enhance the size and shape of the backside. A surgical BBL provides a better contour once the final results are visible.

When it comes to a non-surgical butt lift, the latest trends include procedures such as Sculptra Butt Lift, Radiofrequency Butt lift and Emsculpt Butt Lift:

  • Sculptra Butt Lift uses Sculptra which is a poly-L-lactic acid that gives a plump appearance to the butt by stimulating the production of collagen in the body. Sculptra is a powder that is mixed with water to create a solution that is diluted for easier injections. Multiple injections are placed underneath the skin in the butt to provide the desired results. Patients may experience some soreness after the treatment but any discomfort will resolve on its own. The body of the patient absorbs the water in one or two days but the particles of Sculptra will be left in the body to provide the desired butt augmentation. Sculptra has been shown to provide around a 20%-50% augmentation in the contour and shape of the buttocks as well as an increase in the volume of the backside. It can take about six weeks before patients start to see a plumper and more contoured look. It should be noted that it can take multiple treatments/multiple injections to see the desired results from Sculptra but the results can last up to two years. Patients can also have maintenance treatments performed during those two years to maintain the desired results.
  • Emsculpt Butt Lift augments the backside by increasing the gluteal muscle mass area. An Emsculpt device uses high-intensity electromagnetic energy that is focused on the targeted treatment area to stimulate the gluteal muscle to experience thousands of contractions during the treatment. The large number of contractions is far beyond what patients can accomplish at the gym during a workout. The contractions strengthen and thicken the fibers of the gluteal muscle and this increases the muscle mass to provide the desired enhancement. The results can start to become visible after a few months but it takes about six months to see the final results. The patient can maintain the results by undergoing maintenance treatments as well as exercising on a regular basis.
  • Radiofrequency Butt Lift, also known as RF Butt Lift, is performed to help patients gain a toned and tighter butt through the tightening of the skin. Patients need to know that a RF Butt Lift will not add volume to the booty even though this butt lift technique stimulates the production of collagen in the skin. The tighter look to the butt gives it a more youthful and projected appearance. It usually takes about two treatments to get the desired results. Once the desired results are achieved, the patient can undergo maintenance treatments on a yearly basis to maintain the results.

Consult with a Board-Certified Doctor about Non-Surgical Butt Lift

Patients interested in undergoing a non-surgical butt lift, or even a traditional surgical BBL need to schedule a consultation appointment with a board-certified doctor. The doctor will discuss the desired final results with the patient to determine the best butt lift technique to achieve the desired appearance to the booty. While a non-surgical butt lift does not require the same amount of recovery and downtime as a Brazilian butt lift, the results are not as long-lasting as a BBL and the non-surgical butt lift procedure will need to be repeated on a regular basis to maintain the results. While the results of a non-surgical butt lift will fade away, the treatment can still give patients an enhanced shape and contour along with a greater size to the backside. Patients that are not interested in having liposuction and fat grafting performed to enhance their buttock can have a non-surgical butt lift to gain their desired appearance.
