Learn how a Brazilian butt lift is performed and its results

The Met Gala was held earlier this week and the celebrity trend of showcasing a bigger booty was on full display. Many female stars walked the Met Gala red carpet in dresses that showcased their ample backsides and they included Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez. Many of these celebrities like to show off their backsides but they don’t like to discuss how they achieved their large and contoured butts. One of the most popular methods of gaining a larger booty is by undergoing a Brazilian butt lift (BBL). A BBL adds volume to the butt through the use of fat grafting.

Since this cosmetic surgery procedure continues to increase in popularity, Cosmetic Town TV decided to take an in-depth look at how a Brazilian butt lift is performed and the results it can provides patients that hope to gain a larger booty:

Brazilian Butt Lift Procedure and BBL Ideal Candidates

A Brazilian butt lift is performed by removing fat from one section of the body and then injecting the removed fat into the buttocks of the patient. The fat can be removed from a number of areas on the body including the back, abdomen, hips and thighs.

The process begins when a small incision is made in the area that is targeted for the removal of fat. A cannula is then inserted into the layers of fat located in the area targeted on the body. Once the cannula is inserted, the surgeon performs liposuction by injecting a solution made of saline, lidocaine and epinephrine since this makes it easier for the cannula to break apart the fat cells. Once the desired amount of fat is ready to be removed from the body, the fluid and fat cells in the area are removed through the use of a vacuum that is attached to the cannula. The fat that is removed is processed and purified before it is injected back into the buttocks of the patient.

The amount of fat that is removed from the body of the person depends on the final results that are desired by the patient. The removal of the fat does more than provide a person with more volume in the booty. It also provides the patient with a more contoured appearance to the area where the fat was removed.

Ideal candidates for a BBL include patients that are close to their ideal weight but still have enough fat that can be removed, using liposuction, and placed in the buttocks. The patient should also be trying to achieve the increased volume and contour that is provided by a Brazilian lift instead of simply trying to redistribute fat in the body.

Brazilian Butt Lift Recovery and Results

The amount of recovery time a person needs after a BBL is different per person. The recovery time depends on the amount of fat that is removed as well as the type of work performed by a person. A patient that has a job that involves being at a desk will need less recovery time than a person that has a job that is more active in nature. In general, it can take anywhere from three to six weeks before a person is able to return to work after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift.

When it comes to undergoing, and recovering, from a Brazilian butt lift, there are a few limitations to keep in mind. For example, all of the fat that is transferred will not survive the fat grafting process. Plus, there is only a certain amount of fat that can be safely transferred by a doctor during a BBL. Finally, there is only a certain amount of fat that can be transferred from one part of the body to another while still maintaining a natural look to the buttocks of the patient. The amount of fat that can be removed while still keeping a natural appearance is different for each person.

The final results provided by a Brazilian butt lift depend on the amount of fat that is placed in the buttocks using fat grafting. The final results are also determined by the total amount of fat that survives the BBL procedure and if the patient follows the instructions provided by the doctor when it comes to maintaining a healthy diet and exercising on a regular basis after the treatment. Patients do not have to worry about the fat being rejected by the body since the fat comes from the actual body of the patient. The final results will be a greater contour and better shape to the booty. In general, the final results can last a lifetime as long as the patient follows the instructions provided by the cosmetic surgeon after the BBL is performed.

Consult with a Board-Certified Brazilian Butt Lift Doctor

Patients that want to undergo a Brazilian butt lift should schedule a consultation appointment with a board-certified doctor experienced in performing BBL. The doctor will meet with the patient to discuss the desired goals of the person as well as set realistic expectations for the final results. Patients need to be aware of the various steps involved in undergoing a Brazilian butt lift so they will be able to make an informed final decision about having BBL cosmetic surgery,
