Vanquish Fat Treatment

Vanquish is a cosmetic treatment that reduces excess fat through the use of extreme temperatures. It uses the heat from radiofrequency energy to destroy fat cells on areas of the body such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs and backside to produce a more contoured appearance. Vanquish feel similar to having a heating pad placed on the treated area. An adjustable panel hovers over the targeted area to deliver radiofrequency energy. The energy heats the fat cells and melts them. The heat also tightens the skin and the fat cells are eliminated by the body.

Ideal candidates for the treatment include adults that are bothered by localized areas of excess fat. Patients should be near their ideal body weight while still having a good amount of skin elasticity. It is a better treatment for patients looking to gain a better contour to their appearance by removing smaller areas of fat.

The cost of Vanquish is around $800-$2500 per session and multiple sessions are often required. The final cost also depends on the area of the country where the treatment is performed and any fees charged by the doctor or the facility.

Patients can resume all activities immediately after the procedure. The treatment area will be pink or swollen for a few days after the treatment. In general, patients need 4-6 sessions to achieve their desired results. It can take about 2-4 months for all of the fat cells to be eliminated from the body. In order to maintain the results, patients need to follow a healthy diet and exercise on a regular basis to avoid gaining weight that can void the results.
