Non Surgical Nose Job

A non-surgical nose job AKA non-surgical rhinoplasty sculpts the shape of the nose by injecting dermal fillers. It is a minimally invasive procedure that improves the shape, size and appearance of the nose. A fine needle deposits micro-droplets of dermal filler under the skin. The filler is molded into shape directly after the injections. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can be performed with temporary or permanent fillers. Temporary fillers are broken down and re-absorbed by the body. Permanent fillers are not absorbed and stay in place for many years.

Ideal candidates are patients that don’t want to have surgical rhinoplasty but they still want to make a change in the look of the nose. Good candidates also include people that want to reduce the look of a bump on the nose or anyone with a drooping nose tip or a crooked nose or someone lacking balance to their facial features. This is not a good procedure for someone looking for dramatic improvements in the shape of the nose as well as long-lasting results that only come from having surgery.

The cost is anywhere in the range of $700-$2500. The total cost depends on the type of filler used by the doctor, the experience of the doctor and the area of the country where the treatment is performed.

Patients will see some redness at the injection site along with some minor bruising and tenderness. The results are seen immediately. There might be some irregularities in the shape of the nose but they can be corrected by massaging the area to evenly distribute the filler. The doctor evaluates symmetry and balance during the follow-up appointment with the patient. The final results can last anywhere from 1-2 years.
