BodyTite

BodyTite is performed to treat areas of loose skin located in the arms, breasts, abdomen, thighs and knees. Radiofrequency energy is focused on the targeted areas to firm the tissue as well as tighten the skin through the production of collagen. BodyTite gently melts and removes excess fat through a tiny incision in the targeted area. By pre-melting the fat, the removal of the fat is less traumatic and reduces any swelling and discomfort.

A good candidate for BodyTite is a person with a moderate amount of skin laxity as well as a desire to reduce the amount of fat in certain areas of the body. Patients that have severe skin laxity are better candidates for a more invasive procedure like a tummy tuck.

The average cost of BodyTite is anywhere from $4500-$9000. The cost depends on the extent of the procedure, if any additional procedures are performed at the same time, fees charged by the doctor or the facility and the area of the country where it is performed.

The results of BodyTite start to become visible once any bruising or swelling goes down. The final results are seen after 3-6 months. The results are long lasting as the removed fat will not return. However, fat can grow on areas of the body located around the treated area as a person ages.
