Who You Gonna Call? A Rhinoplasty Surgeon!

Kristen Wiig is one of the most popular comic actresses in Hollywood thanks to her roles in “Ghostbusters” and “Bridesmaids” as well as her years on “Saturday Night Live”. She has often been the best part of many movies that did not have many other parts to recommend about them. While she has not been the subject of many plastic surgery rumors in the past, the last few years have brought whispers of one particular procedure that she is suspected of undergoing.

Many celebrity watchers say Kristen had rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, as far back as 2011. Rhinoplasty is performed to improve the proportion of the nose to the rest of the facial features as well as improve the overall shape of the nose. It is designed to upgrade the facial harmony of the person who has the surgery.

It was in 2011 that the public, as well as celebrity insiders, began to notice a difference in the size, appearance and shape of her nose. Many people point to photos from that year as the time her facial appearance began to look different than previous photos. It was also pointed out by some people that Wiig took some time off from work around then and it is believed that her time off from work is when she had the procedure.

A look at earlier pictures of Kristen showed that her nose had a rather thick bridge as well as wide nostrils and a very prominent bulbous tip. At the time, her nose was considered to be the most prominent feature of her face. However, that is not the case anymore following her suspected rhinoplasty surgery. The bridge of her nose is now much narrower and her nostrils no longer appear to be as wide as they were in the past. The tip of her nose has more of a slope now and does not have its bulbous shape. In general, her nose is also smaller in appearance than when she first became a public figure.

Like many celebrities before her, Wiig has never admitted to having any kind of plastic surgery performed on her body. However, there are medical experts who say that she has definitely had rhinoplasty. One plastic surgeon, based in Miami, points out that her nose looks shorter in appearance and the tip is much more defined along with also having a narrower appearance.

Unless Wiig decides to publicly admit to having rhinoplasty, the general public will likely never have a definite “yes or no” answer to the mystery. If it is true that the actress decided to have a nose job, she is to be commended for not making too drastic of a change and for maintaining a natural look to her facial appearance.
