Vampire Facelift

Vampire Facelift is for people who want healthy, youthful and rejuvenated skin but without having surgery. The key ingredient of the Vampire Facelift is platelet-rich fibrin matrix derived from the patient’s own blood before being mixed with other factors. Hyaluronic acid fillers are injected to create a beautiful shape. The physician then isolates growth factors from the patient’s blood. When these growth factors are injected into the face, multi-potent stem cells become activated to grow new tissue that includes collagen, fatty tissue for smoothness and new blood vessels for a healthy glow.

Candidates shouldn't have any skin conditions on the face caused by any sort of malignancy. The best candidates for this procedure are those with ‘crepey’ skin which is an ailment where the skin wrinkles and folds due to poor underlying support and brittle surface tissue. Patients suffering from surgical and acne scars, skin lesions, dermis thinning, fine lines, coarse wrinkles, substantial connective tissue strength loss leading to drooping and pigmentation asymmetries are also ideal candidates.

The typical cost ranges from $1500-$2500 per injection. The final cost depends on any fees charged by the hospital or surgical facility, the surgeon’s level of expertise, the geographic location of the procedure and if any other procedures are performed at the same time.

This procedure requires very little recovery time. On the first day following the treatment, the patient experience some redness and tenderness similar to sunburn. This should be gone by the second day and makeup can be applied. Results should be seen in a few weeks but optimal results take about 3 months. The length of the results depends on how well the patient takes care of the skin after the treatment. It generally takes 9 to 12 months before the patient needs another set of injections in order to maintain the results.
