TruSculpt 3D

TruSculpt 3D uses radiofrequency to heat and destroy fat cells. TruSculpt 3D takes a multi-dimensional approach to decrease circumference, and eliminate fat cells, by delivering clinically therapeutic temperatures to the subcutaneous adipose tissue. A handpiece emits radiofrequency energy over the targeted area. Pulses of energy cause fat cells to heat up and shrink to promote skin contraction for a slim and smooth effect.

Ideal candidates want to reduce or eliminate fat cells. It is also suitable for patients who want a reduction in circumference, improvement in cellulite appearance and enhanced body contours. It is not a suitable treatment for patients looking for a weight loss treatment. Ideal patients have a body mass index of 30 or less.

The typical cost ranges from $2000-$6000. The final cost depends on the size of the area to be treated, the surgeon’s level of expertise and the geographic location of the procedure.

The procedure sculpts the body, reduces stubborn fat and tightens loose skin. There could be some slight redness, swelling and bruising.  Depending on the desired results, multiple sessions may be needed. Initial results are evident after about 6 weeks and will continue to improve for the next 3 months. The results are long lasting provided a healthy lifestyle is maintained.
