SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT

Silhouette InstaLift offers patients the dual benefit of immediate facial lifting and volume without the unwanted challenges of traditional surgery. Silhouette InstaLift uses dissolving sutures to lift sagging skin and decrease deep lines on the neck, jowls and smile lines. InstaLift sutures are inserted into the skin at a target depth of roughly 5mm. Once the sutures are in place, the surgeon can compress and “lift” the skin thanks to the bi-directional cones located along the suture. Silhouette InstaLift encourages the body’s production of collagen and gives patients the mechanical “lift” from the suture along with the production of collagen.

Silhouette InstaLift should not be used by patients with any known allergy or foreign body sensitivities to plastic biomaterial. The best Silhouette InstaLift candidates are in good physical condition and have normal skin thickness. Patients who had a prior surgical facelift, and are experiencing sagging skin, are an ideal candidate. This procedure is ideal for younger men and women who would like to delay the signs of aging or achieve subtle rejuvenation results in the brow, cheek, jowls, or neck. In general, Silhouette InstaLift patients have sagging, old-looking skin around the face or jawline as well as loss of volume or structure in the face.

The typical cost for Silhouette InstaLift ranges from $2800 - $6000 but this range doesn't include anesthesia or operating room fees. The final cost depends on the surgeon’s level of expertise, the geographic location of the procedure and if any other procedures are performed at the same time.

Patients are usually able to resume normal activities quite quickly. There may be some bruising or swelling after the procedure but this should subside within 1-5 days. Patients may experience minor pain, swelling and bruising. Patients can reasonably expect improvements to last about 18 months. The sutures do eventually dissolve and the natural effects of aging will continue just as they would if the patient did not have a treatment or surgical lift.
