Radiage


Radiage is a non-ablative procedure that used a cooling gel while the skin is being heated. The process shrinks collagen and tightens the skin for a rejuvenated look. An advanced Cool-Gel is used that incorporates a cryo-gel to cool the skin’s outer surface while radiofrequency energy slightly heats and modifies the soft tissues beneath the skin. This causes the collagen to contract and tighten and it can even reduce wrinkles in the treated area.

Ideal candidates are healthy individuals who want to treat wrinkles, spots, sun damage, visible signs of aging, discoloration, acne scars, enlarged pores or uneven skin tone. Patients with a history of bleeding disorders or who have cold sores or other open sores on the area of treatment are not good candidates.

The typical cost ranges from $2000-$3000.The final cost depends on fees charged by the doctor or the medical facility, the geographic location of the procedure and if other procedures are performed at the same time.

The treatment rejuvenates and restores the skin's radiance. There could be some slight tenderness, redness and itching for a few days after the procedure. Initial results can be seen shortly after the procedure and will continue to improve over the next 2 to 3 months. Final results can last for many years but are subject to the natural aging of the body.
