Did Martha Stewart have plastic surgery

While Martha Stewart has been in the public eye for a long time, the businesswoman and television personality has recently been in the spotlight more than normal thanks to her appearance as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover star. It is an understatement to say that the eighty-one-year-old took the Internet by storm once her cover was revealed to the public. Her look on the cover of the magazine led to an instant debate about Martha and whether or not she has undergone any type of plastic surgery in the past. Curious about her feelings regarding plastic surgery? If so, take a look below to learn more about Martha Stewart and celebrity plastic surgery.

Martha Stewart – Plastic Surgery Opinion Revealed

Martha Stewart Plastic Surgery OpinionThere has been a great divide when it comes to Martha Stewart being a swimsuit issue cover model. There are some people who are thrilled to see an older woman being the focus of attention on a magazine cover normally dominated by younger models. On the other hand, there has also been some criticism about the idea of a woman of a more mature age being featured in such a prominent manner.

The start of the groundbreaking cover recently discussed the topic of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures on a number of podcasts. She told one interviewer, “Every now and then, there are certain fillers that I can do for a little line here or there, but I hate Botox. It’s a weird thing for me. I really and truly don’t do a lot.”

On her own podcast, she continued to discuss the topic of Botox. “When I get comments about “She better stop using Botox,’ I don’t use Botox except a little bit in my neck. I hate Botox.

She was also asked about her feelings towards plastic surgery. Her answer seemed to leave no room for doubt when she added, “I’ve had absolutely no plastic surgery whatsoever.”

Martha Stewart – Photoshop or Not?

The photos for the magazine were taken in the Dominican Republic and there have been some viewers of the photos who have suggested that “the pictures are over-retouched. But they’re not. They are incredibly accurate pictures. I was really pleased that there was not much airbrushing.”

Once she agreed to the magazine cover, Stewart spent two months preparing for the photos. She told the editor-in-chief of Sports Illustrated that she had to do an examination of her appearance to get ready for the experience. This preparation process included asking herself the question, “What do I have to do to make sure I look good? I mean, there’s a little flab here and a little wrinkle there; you have to make sure you take care of all that.”

Stewart added, “I really had to get on the exercise. I always exercise, but I really went to Pilates three or four times a week. I ate a lot of salads, a lot of green juice for two months, no drinks at all, no wine, no drinks, nothing. I had my regular facials, I even got a spray tan which I never do…I waxed my whole body.”

In addition to the steps listed above, Stewart also continued to enjoy her regular time in the sun while being sure to regularly wear hats and use sunblock to protect her skin.

Martha Stewart – Healthy Lifestyle Instead of Plastic Surgery

In another interview, she discussed how she takes care of herself without plastic surgery. “I have very healthy, good hair. I drink green juice every day. I take my vitamins. I eat very healthfully. I have very good skin doctors. I’m very careful in the sun. I war hats and I wear sunblock every single day.”

Even with all of these healthy habits. Stewart is not above occasionally using filler (as mentioned earlier in this article). However, she is most happy with the results of her healthy lifestyle.

“What I’m proud of, is [that] I’ve taken care of myself, I actually pay attention to my good health. I think if you look good, you feel good…you’re healthy, and it shows. It shows in the glistening skin, in the pink cheeks, in the nice hair, everything. You can’t be like that unless you’ve worked at it, at least in terms of diet and exercise and seeing the right doctors, making sure you’re a healthy person.”

On her own podcast, Martha Stewart stated that she hopes her photos in Sports Illustrated become an inspiration for women of all ages to be confident during the aging process and to not be afraid to age naturally. She also encourages “other women who are getting on, you know, getting older…you start getting old the day you’re born but you don’t have to show it.”

It seems that between exercise, a good diet, and protecting her skin in the sun, Martha Stewart is ready to show females across the globe that age is only a number…even when it comes to being a magazine cover model.
