Couples weeks after Breast Augmentation & I have severe pain in one of my breast

I had a breast augmentation procedure done a couple weeks ago and one of my breasts is hurting. Every time I take a deep breath, I get a sharp pain in the area. Is this part of the normal recovery process or what should I do?

Severe Pain After Breast Augmentation

Hello! I usually tell my clients that their breasts should settle within 3 to 6 months after breast augmentation. It is normal for one breast to be more swollen than the other, especially in the first few weeks after the procedure. This is often caused by the pressure of the implant pushing on the skin or inflammation of the chest wall. I recommend that you follow the post-operative care instructions from your surgeon, but you can also make an in-person appointment to see if there is anything unusual causing the pain if the discomfort persists.
