Venus Freeze - Venus Legacy

Venus Freeze/Venus Legacy tightens the skin and heats the fat just below the skin surface. Venus Freeze uses radiofrequency energy to heat the skin for tightening and to stimulate collagen production. Venus Freeze adds suction to pull the tissue into the machine. The doctor moves a handheld device with tiny pins across the treatment area. The patient feels short bursts of heat from the pins emitting energy in the dermal tissue. An adjustable pulsed suction gently pulls the skin onto the device so the energy can penetrate deeper to target the fat. The heat damages the fat cells for natural elimination.

Ideal candidates include anyone that wants to improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles as well as someone with good skin tone and not a lot of skin laxity. Both treatments are good choices for patients that want to see an improvement when it comes to mild cellulite on the body.

The cost depends on the size of the area being treated as well as the number of treatments needed to achieve the desired results. In general, the cost is about $500-$600 per session but can vary according to the skills of the doctor and location of the office in the country.

There is no recovery or downtime needed after the procedure. The treated area might feel like it has sunburn but this will quickly pass. The results will continue to improve over time as the collagen production increases. The final results will be seen after three or four months. The results can last for up to three months so patients will need maintenance treatments to maintain the results.
