TriPollar

TriPollar is a laser that uses radiofrequency to heat both the superficial and deep layers of the skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and tighten the skin. The energy used by the laser is targeted and gentle so it can be used in the areas around the mouth and eyes. TriPollar is also used on the stomach, thighs and buttocks to tighten the skin and remove cellulite and stretch marks. The provider applies glycerin and massages the skin using a handpiece that emits radiofrequency energy that penetrates the skin.

Patients who would like to see a dramatic improvement in their appearance using a painless, gentle treatment with no downtime are excellent candidates for TriPollar laser. This laser cannot be used on patients with certain implantable metal devices such as pacemakers.

The cost depends on the size of the area being treated, the number of sessions needed and any fees charged by the doctor or facility. The cost ranges from $200-$800 dollars per session.

The results are seen immediately and continue to improve as collagen is formed beneath the skin. There will be a noticeable decrease in fine lines and cellulite in the treatment area and the skin will look tighter. Dramatic results are seen when a number of treatments are done to one particular area. The length of the results will vary per patient but they are considered to be long lasting.
