Skin Tightening

As the skin ages, less collagen and elastin are produced, making the skin look saggy.  Non-invasive treatments can combat the aging process to give patients firm, smooth, and youthful skin. Treatment options include using ultrasound or radiofrequency waves or an IPL radiofrequency combination. All of these treatments use energy to heat deeper layers of the skin and stimulate the production of collagen. These treatments tighten the skin and provide a lift to aging skin.

These treatments are excellent for patients with mild to moderate skin laxity. All these treatments have few side effects and need no downtime for recovery. Some or all of these treatments may not be appropriate for patients with major sagging, sagging due to pregnancy or large amount of weight loss and patients who have certain medical conditions.

The cost depend on the type of treatment performed, the size of the area being treated and the number of treatments that are necessary. Nonsurgical skin tightening generally ranges from $700-$3500 dollars.

Nonsurgical skin tightening does not produce immediate results. Results will begin to be seen several weeks after treatment, as the skin improves gradually over time as more collagen is produced. A month or two after the treatment, patients will see firmer, smoother and more youthful skin. These treatments can be repeated on a regular basis for maximum effect.
