O-Shot

O-Shot is a non-surgical procedure that rejuvenates and revitalizes vaginal and clitoral function. A topical numbing agent is applied to the clitoris and inside the vagina along the front wall. The procedure involves drawing blood from the patient that is centrifuged to isolate platelet rich plasma (PRP) from the blood. After growth factors have been isolated from the blood, they are injected into the clitoris and upper vagina. The platelets stimulate the growth of new cells in the injected areas and make those areas more sensitive to the touch to improve orgasm and arousal.

Ideal candidates are healthy women who want stronger orgasms, increased sexual desire, increased natural lubrication and decreased urinary incontinence. The best candidates are women who are physically healthy and have realistic expectations regarding the results. Patients suffering from bleeding disorders or any other medical condition that can impair the healing process are not good candidates.

The typical cost for an O-Shot ranges from $900-$1800.The final cost depends on the surgeon’s level of expertise, the geographic location of the procedure and fees charged by the doctor or the facility.

There is minimal recovery time needed after the procedure. There could be some mild inflammation, redness, bruising and swelling for a few days. Patients can resume normal activities a day after the procedure but sexual activities should also be avoided for 2-3 days. The finals results are evident in 2-3 months and last for a period of 12-18 months.
