The Nordlys Hybrid System is a revolutionary technology that uses light energy to target a wide variety of skin conditions such as intense pulsed light for hair removal, photofacials for skin discoloration issues, infrared laser for large vessels and a fractionated laser for acne, scars and skin aging. The system targets specific pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by two of the body’s natural chemicals including melanin in the pigmented areas and hemoglobin in the red blood cells. These pigments utilize the light energy and convert it to heat that destroys imperfections without damaging healthy surrounding tissue.
