Fractora RF


Fractora RF combines targeted microneedling with radiofrequency energy for skin rejuvenation. It delivers RF energy to the skin through an array of pins delivering localized heat and small micro-lesion dots in the treatment area. Fractora RF can be used in areas that demonstrate fine or deep wrinkles like the lower eyelid, upper eyelid, smile lines, cheeks, mouth and neck. The heat generated by Fractora pins in the sub-dermal tissue to promote collagen restructuring for skin rejuvenation. When the handpiece is moved over bony areas such as the cheekbones or forehead, a little bit of pressure is felt. After the treatment, a soothing serum ensures the skin is moisturized and hydrated.

Ideal candidates are healthy individuals with large pores, excess oil, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles and acne. Patients suffering from discoloration are also good candidates. Patients who have open sores on the area of treatment, have a history of keloid formation (scarring), bleeding disorders or a history of extreme allergies are not good candidates for the treatment.

The typical cost ranges from $1000-$1500 per treatment.The final cost depends on surgical facility fees, the surgeon’s level of expertise and the geographic location of the procedure.

After the procedure, there could be slight redness, swelling and itching which subsides after a couple of hours. Tiny scabs from the microneedles form between 2-5 days and heal within a week or two. In most patients, the skin is fully healed in about two weeks. For the best results, 2-4 treatments are needed. The maximum results become evident in about 3 months. The results can last for up to 12-18 months.
