Celebrities are judged by their looks on a daily basis. From red carpet events to going about their daily lives, celebrities are constantly under the microscope when it comes to their appearance. Many stars are determined to remain as youthful looking as possible so they turn to cosmetic surgery and treatments like Botox to rejuvenate their appearance. Some celebrities are open about their adventures with cosmetic surgery while others try to hide the changes in their appearance. There is also a third group of celebrities that claim they will never have any form of cosmetic surgery to change the way they look. According to Yolanda Hadid, one celebrity that belongs to that group is her daughter, supermodel Bella Hadid.
Yolanda Hadid is a former model as well as the mother of three daughters that also became famous models. Yolanda wants everyone to stop assuming that Bella has undergone cosmetic procedures such as Botox or fillers in the past. In fact, she recently got onto her social media accounts to try and stop the gossip about Bella having Botox to enhance her supermodel look.
The gossip about Bella’s appearance started when photos of Bella started appearing where she looked a little different than her photos from the previous year. The newest set of photos started speculation that Bella was trying to alter her appearance through the use of cosmetic surgery.
However, her mom says that is not the case at all.
According to Yolanda Hadid, the main reason Bella would not use Botox is because she respects her mom too much.
Yolanda Hadid suffers from Lyme disease which is an infectious disease that is spread through ticks. The disease can cause long-term complications for patients including joint pains, the loss of movement on one or both sides of the face and major headaches that come with stiffness of the neck. Even though she seemed to be doing better after suffering the condition, she had another battle with the disease thanks to undetected black mold in her home.
She is not the only member of her family to have problems with Lyme disease. Bella, along with her sister Gigi, also suffers from Lyme disease.
In a recent post on Instagram, Yolanda admitted to removing all artificial components from her body. Her caption on a recent photo made her feelings about cosmetic treatments and enhancements obvious to all of her fans, The caption read that she is currently free of “breast implants, fillers, Botox, and extensions and all the bullshit I thought I needed in order to keep up with what society conditioned me to believe what a sexy woman should look like.”
By removing the artificial components from her body, she is trying to set an example for her daughters about how they should act when it comes to their appearance in the future. She hopes to show them that artificial enhancements to the appearance are unnecessary in the present and could be harmful in the future,
The gossip about Bella Hadid and Botox is not the first time she had to deal with suspicions about her look. In an earlier interview with InStyle, Bella discussed the whispers she heard surrounding her appearance. She told the magazine, “People think I got all this surgery or did this or that. And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling.”
Besides discussing her own body decisions on Instagram, Yolanda Hadid is quick to jump to the defense of her kids on the popular social media platform. One fan questioned whether or not Bella had any work done in the past. Yolanda jumped into the conversation and remarked “none of my children have done fillers or Botox or put anything foreign in their bodies, they know better after seeing what I went through.”
The final decision about undergoing cosmetic surgery is a personal decision and must be made by the individual thinking about having the surgery in question. If Bella Hadid does decide to have Botox or any other type of cosmetic surgery, she should have the treatment because she wants to undergo the treatment and not to make anyone else happy.
However, based on the statements made by the Hadid family in the past, it looks like all of them are deciding to “just say no” to Botox.
