Some people have plastic surgery to make a small alteration in their appearance. Others undergo plastic surgery to make a dramatic change in the way they look and feel about their appearance. Elena Rosso is a barmaid from Copenhagen that decided to use the power of plastic surgery to make a drastic change in her appearance.
Rosso has earned the nickname “real life Barbie” after undergoing a series of plastic surgery procedures. The 23-year-old fan of plastic surgery has spent over $22,000 on a variety of procedures including Botox, two breast augmentation surgeries and facial fillers. In addition to these cosmetic surgery procedures, she plans on having a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) in the future.
The reasons behind her transformation can be found by taking a look at her troubled past. She told a British newspaper that she “was a child that didn’t get a chance to be a child for very long. I learned from a young age that I was on my own due to an unstable family life and home.”
She added that her “rebellious youth involved the usual substance abuse such as drugs and alcohol, illegal activities and so on.” She claims her behavior as a youth came from being lonely and this caused her to act out at a young age. She also learned that she was the only one responsible for herself and her actions as well as her future. Rosso decided she was the only one that could change her life for the better and that the only person she could depend on was herself.
In order to start living the life she desired, Rosso decided to make a change in her appearance. The first step was having fillers placed in her lips to get a plump and youthful look to them. She admits to being nervous about having the needles put in her lips but she is a big fan of piercings so she was somewhat confident about receiving the injections. Her fear of having needles has gone away thanks to getting Botox and fillers placed in her cheeks, under-eye area, lips and chin.
In addition to the fillers and Botox, Rosso had two breast augmentation procedures that increased her breasts from a B cup to much larger E cup.
Her transformation didn’t stop with these treatments. She also decided to change her hair color from raven to a blonde look that is often associated with Barbie.
Cosmetic Town News recently had the opportunity to do an exclusive one-on-one interview with this real life Barbie.
CT: Many people refer to you as a Barbie doll. Does this nickname bother you?
Rosso: I must admit that I find my so called nickname very flattering. As a child I’ve always been a huge fan of Barbie dolls and it will always be the representation of the “perfect woman” in my eyes. I would like to add that looking like Barbie has never been a particular goal of mine and that is something that has come about by itself thanks to social media.
When I look at myself in the mirror, I do find it accurate. I do see the resemblance and I do not find it offensive. The only thing that can bother me from time to time is that my appearance often gets in the way of the message that I am trying to spread which is the fact that you should never be afraid to do whatever makes you happy despite other people’s opinions. You are your own canvas. You are art.
CT: Which procedure has been your favorite so far?
Rosso: My breast argumentation is, without a doubt, my favorite one.
CT News: Which procedure do you feel made the biggest impact on your appearance?
Rosso: Once again, it has to be my breast argumentation. It took me two surgeries to get to the size and look that I desired and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’ve never been “gifted” on top and I finally felt complete when I got what I’ve always been dreaming about.
CT News: How have your friends reacted to the change in your look?
Rosso: I have never gotten any particular reaction from my friends. I have been changing gradually and people within my circle have been following my “transformation” by my side. I never do anything drastic from one day to the other.
CT News: Is there any cosmetic surgery you are afraid to undergo?
Rosso: I am planning on getting a rhinoplasty in the near future and I must admit that is the surgery that scares me the most. Even though I have had plenty of filler and Botox injections done on my face, they are all temporary and the thought of getting a surgical procedure done on something on my face does make me a bit nervous.
