Besides being a model, and one of the hosts of “Lip Sync Battle”, Chrissy Teigen is also busy shutting down rumors that she had plastic surgery.
Teigen recently responded to a Harper’s Bazaar article that claimed she had work done on her forehead, nose and lips as well as liposuction on her armpits. The Harpar’s Bazaar article cited an interview Teigen gave in May of this year. In the earlier interview, Chrissy joked that everything about her “is fake” except for her cheeks. After the article was published, her quotes were taken out of context. Teigen was then forced to state her comments were actually jokes.
Once Harpar’s Bazzar decided to use the quotes for a new article, Twitter users started to take the magazine to task for its lack of research. One fan tweeted that the magazine used Teigen’s “clearly sarcastic quote” as its “evidence” of her plastic surgery.
Teigen retweeted that fan and, once again, pointed out that her comments were meant as jokes. She referenced her comment on “forehead surgery” as proof that she was not serious and just joking about her plastic surgery experiences.
