Witness the Cosmetic Surgery Undergone by Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea is known for her rap skills, her fashion sense, her romantic relationships and the changes in her appearance thanks to plastic surgery. Her look has changed greatly over the years and the changes in her appearance are due to much more than the aging process.

Cosmetic Town TV decided to take a closer look at her evolving appearance and the overall beauty transformation of Iggy Azalea. We examined the changes in her features as well as the procedures she has admitted to undergoing in the past:

Iggy and Rhinoplasty

When it comes to the subject of rhinoplasty, Iggy has been very open about undergoing the surgery. She had her nose refined in order to make it appear to be more in proportion with the rest of her face. In fact, back in 2015, she told Seventeen magazine that “It’s important to remember you can’t change everything. You can never be perfect.”

However, she did make a change through rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty is also known as a nose job and it is performed in order to make a change in the size, shape or look of the nose. The procedure makes the desired changes to the cartilage, bone or skin of the nose to either make an alteration to its appearance or to improve the breathing ability of the patient.

The nose is one of the most prominent features on the body and often draws the attention of others when they first meet a person. Many patients want to make a change in the look of their nose because of its size or the amount of prominence it has on the face. In addition, the feeling that the nose is too big can bother a person for many years and can lead that person to make a desired change to feel more comfortable with the appearance of the nose.

The surgery can be performed as an open rhinoplasty which is where the incisions are placed on the outside of the nose. It can also be performed as a closed rhinoplasty which is a technique that places any incisions on the inside of the nose.

Rhinoplasty can also be performed as a reconstructive procedure after an accident, a revision surgery to make changes to the results obtained after an initial rhinoplasty or to augment a nose that is thin.

The results of rhinoplasty can take up to a year to appear thanks to bruising and swelling. Closed rhinoplasty does not leave any visible scars while open rhinoplasty can leave a visible scar since the incisions are made on the outside of the nose. The results of rhinoplasty should be permanent as long as the patient does not experience any sort of injury or trauma to the nose in the future.

The Changing Breasts of Iggy Azalea

Another plastic surgery procedure that Iggy has admitted to undergoing is breast augmentation. She once told Vogue magazine that “I did change something. Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I’d thought about it my entire life. I don’t think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I’ve spoken about the changes I’ve made, like with my breasts.”

In general, a breast implant always contains a silicone shell that is filled with a silicone gel or a liquid known as saline. Once the type of breast implant is chosen, it is placed in a pocket above or below the pectoral muscle to produce the look of an enlarged breast.

In addition, the implants can be shaped or round as well as textured or smooth. Plus, implants vary in their size and profile which can be classified as a moderate profile, a moderate plus profile or a high profile. The difference in profile helps to determine the level of projection for any given implant size.

Some patients may not be an ideal candidate for breast implants if they have breasts that are saggy. They might need to undergo an additional surgery such as a breast lift to achieve the desired augmentation.  In addition, patients need to be aware that breast implants are not permanent and they will need to be replaced at some point in the future. They can last anywhere from 10-20 years but will still need to be replaced by a surgeon.
