Venus Viva

Venus Viva laser uses pinpricks of radiofrequency energy to heat the skin and stimulate healing and rejuvenation. The process creates tiny micro-dermal wounds which the body will heal on its own. This heals damage to the skin’s surface including wrinkles, signs of aging, sun damage, scarring and rosacea and improves the skin tone and texture.  The treatment generally takes 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

Patients looking to resurface and rejuvenate the skin without any downtime are ideal candidates for the Venus Viva laser treatment. This treatment cannot be done if the patient has certain chronic medical conditions such as an impaired immune system or a rash or herpes in the desired treatment area. It is safe for all skin tones and ethnicities.

The cost depends on the size of the area being treated, the length of the treatment, the number of treatments performed and the area of the country where it takes place. The price ranges from $1000–$4000 dollars.

During the treatment, there may be mild discomfort and the sensation of heat. After the laser treatment, the treated area will look red and puffy similar to a sunburn and no creams, lotions or makeup can be applied to the face. The results will continue to gradually improve over the next 1-2 months. The treatment can be repeated every 4 weeks for maximum effects. After a series of 3-4 treatments, the results will be long lasting.
