Total FX

Total FX is a carbon dioxide laser treatment that resurfaces the skin and also refreshes and rejuvenates it for a fresh and youthful appearance. Total FX targets the surface of the skin to eliminate imperfections as well as the deeper layers of the skin that create collagen that tightens the skin. This laser removes age spots, smooths wrinkles and deep lines, tightens the skin and improves skin tone and texture.

Patients who want to have youthful glowing skin, and are able to have some downtime while the skin is crusty and peeling, are good candidates for this laser treatment. Patients with chronic medical conditions that affect wound healing may not be good candidates for this treatment.

The cost of Total FX depends on the size of the area being treated, the length of the treatment and any fees charged by the doctor or the facility. In general, the cost ranges from $1500-$3500.

After the treatment, the skin will be swollen and pink and will begin to peel. The skin will look red and crusty as the top layer of skin is shed and healing takes place. Results of Total FX are seen as soon as the skin peels and youthful glowing skin is revealed. These results will continue to improve for the next three to six months as more collagen is formed in the deep layers of the skin. The results are long lasting.
