Rejuvapen

Rejuvapen makes use of a microneedling device to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The procedure can be used for skin on the face, neck and abdomen. A Rejuvapen handpiece, containing a cartridge with nine small needles, is glided gently across the surface of the skin. Rejuvapen triggers the body’s natural healing abilities and stimulates collagen production. Peptides and growth factors are also applied during the procedure to maximize effectiveness.

Ideal candidates are healthy individuals with large pores, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles and acne. Patients suffering from discoloration are also good candidates. Patients who have cold sores or other open sores on the area of treatment are not good candidates for the treatment.

The typical cost ranges from $300-$700 per session. The final cost depends on the condition to be treated, the area to be treated, the geographic location of the procedure and if other procedures are performed at the same time.

The procedure rejuvenates and revitalizes the skin. After the procedure, there could be some slight redness, swelling and itching. Patients should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight after the procedure. For the best results, 4 -6 treatments are needed. The maximum results become evident in about 3-6 months. The results last for 1-2 years before touch-up treatments will be needed.
