INSPIRA Breast Implants

INSPIRA breast implant is a round, silicone gel-filled breast implant. Under INSPIRA, there are 400 types of implants with varying feels, shapes and surfaces. This wide range offers a customized fit for more natural-looking results. The procedure is done by placing implants behind breast tissue or under the chest muscle. The implants are filled with either a thick silicone gel or form-stable silicone with a higher fill ratio.  With a higher fill, the possibility of implant rippling and potential rupture is reduced with less rubbing or friction on itself. After the implant is placed, the incision is closed.

In order to undergo breast augmentation, the patient should be in good overall health. The ideal candidate should be a non-smoker or at least willing to quit smoking in the weeks leading up to, and following, the breast augmentation. A candidate should be free of bleeding tendencies and infections, be willing to reduce or eliminate alcohol consumption during the healing period and free from cancerous and pre-cancerous tissues. The procedure is not ideal for pregnant or breastfeeding women. The patient must be 22 years of age or older.

The typical cost for INSPIRA Breast Implants ranges from $4325-$9600. The final cost varies depending on the hospital or surgical facilities, the price of the implants, any necessary medical tests, the surgeon’s level of expertise, the geographic location of the procedure and if any other procedures are performed at the same time.

The breasts will look to be rounder and have greater projection. Recovery can be uncomfortable for the first 24 to 48 hours after breast augmentation but medications can help with this. The gauze dressings applied to the breasts immediately following surgery will be removed after a few days and replaced with a special surgical bra. The patient should avoid bending or lifting as these can delay healing and increase pain. On average, the majority of implants can last 10-20 years without complications.
