Elevess

Elevess is injectable dermal filler used to correct facial lines and wrinkles. It is made from cross-linked hyaluronic acid and contains lidocaine. The procedure generally lasts half an hour as the Elevess is injected into predetermined areas of the face. The amount of Elevess used depends on the severity of the lines and wrinkles and the size of the area being treated. The effects of Elevess can be reversed by injecting a protein enzyme called hyaluronidase.

Ideal candidates are in good health and have facial lines, wrinkles and creases. Patients that are allergic to gram-positive bacteria, have a history of severe allergies, are taking blood-thinning drugs such as aspirin, are pregnant or suffer from immune disorders or problems with blood clotting are not good candidates. A patient with facial skin that is inflamed or infected or has sores or acne is not a good candidate.

The typical cost for Elevess ranges from $300 - $900.The final cost depends on hospital or surgical fees, the surgeon’s level of expertise, the geographic location of the procedure and if other procedures are performed at the same time.

The procedure rejuvenates the skin to give patients a more youthful look. There is little or no downtime after the procedure but there could be some redness, bruising and itching for a few days. The results of the procedure are evident within a day and will last for a period of three to nine months. Elevess has a very high concentration of hyaluronic acid which enhances and prolongs the results.
