This makes me feel like I [look like I] had a really good night’s sleep. I never want to do anything where I don’t look like myself. I don’t want to look younger. That’s not the thing. I just want to look rested, vibrant. I want to look good for my age.”
While Paltrow says she would “never” have a drastic cosmetic procedure, she has also stated that she is not totally against the idea of having a cosmetic procedure. She told the magazine Stylish, “I’m open to it. If there was something that I heard about that I thought would be really game-changing, but I would still look like me. I might try to. I’ve learned that I never say never.”
Earlier this year, The National Enquirer ran a story that speculated on a possible breast augmentation surgery for Paltrow. The tabloid newspaper interviewed Dr. Yoel Shahar, a New York-based plastic surgeon for his opinion about the topic. The doctor said “There’s virtually no question that her breasts have been augmented. She’s gone up at least a full cup size!”
An anonymous source told the newspaper, “Gwyneth knows she’s getting older and that Hollywood is an extremely competitive place for a woman her age. She’s going to do whatever she needs to do to get an edge.”
The article speculates that her breasts have grown from an A cup to a C cup through the use of fat transfer or breast implants. Dr. Otto Placik, a doctor based in Chicago, said “Given the larger appearance of the bra and that her weight seems to have remained the same, it would lead me to believe this was achieved with the use of implants. She might have had fat transfers, but the progression from her upper chest suggests an implant.”
While Paltrow has never admitted to having any kind of work performed on her nose, the current appearance of her nose seems to suggest the actress had rhinoplasty at some point in the past. In the 1990s, her nose had an appearance that was wider and rounder than its current look. In the early 2000s, the appearance of her nose changed to the point that her nostrils were flatter and the bridge of her nose had a straighter look.
Even though Gwyneth promotes living a healthy lifestyle, she has admitted to trying Botox in the past. From her comments about Botox, it is clear that she was not a fan of the experience. Paltrow says she did not like the way the Botox made her look and that it was “uncomfortable”.
In an effort to fight wrinkles and maintain a good complexion, she has admitted to undergoing laser treatments and is open to having more of them in the future.
