A recent study from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reveals that the number of male patients who received Botox treatments was 453,281 in 2016. This number is not a surprise as, back in 2015, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons said that the number of men having Botox injections had increased an amazing 337% since the start of the 21st Century in the year 2000.

Is There A Typical Male Botox Patient?

Many doctors say that male patients visiting their practices are between the ages of 35 and 65.  In general, they are white-collar business people looking to get Botox injections around their eyes and in their brows. Having said that, Dr. Seth Matarasso of San Francisco, says it is not easy to point to one single type of male patient. According to Dr. Matarasso:

“There is no demographic and to me that speaks volumes. The fact that it’s crossing every racial, every sexual, every social demographic.”
