While the eyes of the world are trained on the upcoming marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, another royal marriage is grabbing the attention of fans of the royal family of England.

Recent reports in a tabloid newspaper suggested Prince Charles asked Camilla Parker-Bowles to undergo plastic surgery to fix their marriage. Some fans of this royal couple were worried by the story because, even though Charles and Camilla have been married for 13 years, all marriages hit a few rough spots along the way.

The National Enquirer said the 70-year-old Duchess of Cornwall is looking to invest in cosmetic surgery, such as a facelift, in order to save her marriage to Prince Charles. An unnamed source told the magazine, “Charles looks at Prince William’s wife, Kate, and Prince Harry’s bride-to-be, Meghan, and he’s consumed with jealousy.” The jealousy has led him to demand that Camilla have plastic surgery to make him happy and save their marriage.

However, the rumor debunking website known as Gossip Cop says there is no truth to the claims about any demands made by Charles. The website says Prince Charles has never asked Camilla to undergo plastic surgery and they are not having any sort of marital problems at the moment.

Many royal family fans point out the fact that the couple stood by each other even when their love affair was being examined and criticized by the media and the general public. Before they decided to get married, Prince Charles was still married to the late Princess Diana. Even though the marriage to Diana produced his two sons, many people have speculated, and publicly stated, that the Duchess of Cornwall is the one true love of Prince Charles.

In fact, Princess Diana was interviewed by the BBC about the end of her marriage to Prince Charles. The interview took place over 30 years ago. At the time of the chat with the BBC, the interviewer asked Princess Diana if she thought that the presence of Parker-Bowles contributed in any way to the end of her marriage to Charles. In response to the question, Princess Diana said, “Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”

In another interview, Princess Diana told biographer Andrew Morton that she was well aware of the love affair between Parker-Bowles and Prince Charles long before she decided to confront them about the situation. Diana told Morton that she told Prince Charles, “I know what’s going on between you and Camilla and I just want you to know that.”

Morton said that Charles asked her, “You’ve got everything you ever wanted. You’ve got all the men in the world fall in love with you and you’ve got two beautiful children, what more do you want?’

Her simple reply to Prince Charles was “I want my husband.”
