Did Pamela Anderson Go Under The Knife Again?

Pamela Anderson was well known for her plastic surgery adventures in the past. She is back in the news thanks to whispers that she has undergone further procedures.

A Different Look on the Red Carpet

Anderson became the subject of gossip earlier this month when she was spotted at the Cannes Film Festival sporting a different look that was described by some as “unrecognizable”. She was attending a movie premiere and her face looked to be “pulled back” thanks to her blonde hair being slicked back and away from her face.

There were celebrity watchers and professional photographers who did not recognize her until she started speaking and flashed her famous smile. Once people started to realize who they were viewing, she stopped to pose for photos with the professional photographers as well as with fans viewing the red carpet event.

Why Were People Surprised?

One of the reasons the public was caught off guard by her appearance was the fact that she looked quite different as recently as a few months ago. Her last public appearance was in March of this year and onlookers are trying to determine if the change in her appearance is due to surgery, such as a facelift, or something as simple as her new slicked back hairstyle.

Her Look Changes According to Her Relationships

Anderson has admitted to getting breast implants in the past but she later regretted that decision. She has also admitted to changing her look and style according to the relationship she was currently in at the time pictures of her were taken by photographers. She dated rock stars during her “Baywatch” fame and dressed younger and more outlandish to match the rock star lifestyle.  It has been reported that she is currently dating the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, and her dress at Cannes was more conservative and styled like a 1980s dress.

Is Anderson now dressing appropriately for her age or is she simply another actress trying to maintain a youthful appearance in Hollywood? When speaking with “W Magazine”, Pamela Anderson talked about how many women end up taking their younger years for granted and don’t think about their beauty until after they’ve raised kids and are embarking on the next phase of their lives. When discussing how women can often feel push aside as they get older, she said “it’s larger and more universal than just women, but it speaks specifically to women and beauty and how after a certain age, they are just kind of discarded.”

Until Anderson decides to make any kind of comment on her appearance at the film festival earlier this month, any talk about plastic surgery and her appearance will remain an unconfirmed story for celebrity watchers around the world.
