Was A Brazilian Butt Surgeon Murdered For Revenge?

Posted July 31, 2017
Was a fake plastic surgeon murdered for a botched butt augmentation?

In what is being called a revenge plot for a buttocks surgery gone wrong, a Brazilian butt surgeon was kidnapped and murdered.

Marcilene Soares Gama was taken from her Rio de Janeiro apartment in late July according to the police. She was tied up, forced into a car and driven away from her apartment. The killer then shot her in the face at point-plank range and left her body on a nearby street. The police suspect that the crime was committed by a former client looking for revenge. According to the chief investigator of the case, Fabio Cardoso, forensic experts say she was shot at close range “which is usually a sign of anger and hatred.”

Gama had recently been accused by a number of former clients of not performing their buttock augmentation surgeries properly. She had also been accused of using industrial silicone during the procedures. It has been reported at least 10 women claim their bodies were done permanent harm thanks to the operations performed by Gama.  She was also arrested twice by police due to complaints about her claiming to be a doctor. However, it is said she continued to practice the procedures even after she was released by the police.

Her family defended her by saying the clients were always aware of the dangers and that Gama never lied about her background.

The investigation into her murder is ongoing.
