Brazilian Butt Lifts End Badly For Two Miami Patients

Two patients suffered complications after having a brazilian butt lift

One of the first steps before undergoing any cosmetic surgery is making sure patients do not choose a doctor simply to save money.  The mother of Shaberiya Hill is advising women to spend the extra money to ensure their safety after her daughter ended up in the hospital following a Brazilian butt lift.

According to a Miami TV station, two women who visited Seduction Cosmetic Surgery Center in Miami for Brazilian butt lifts ended up in the hospital as a result of their procedures.  Crystal Call from New York has already been released from the intensive care unit of Aventura Hospital. Shaberiya Hill, from California, is still in ICU at the hospital.

Call’s mother said she could feel something was wrong with her daughter after not hearing from her seven hours after the start of surgery. Maria Basham, the mother of Crystal Call, said she had to threaten to call the police before the doctors at Seduction Cosmetic Surgery Center called for an ambulance. Her threats to call the police started after five nurses prevented her from seeing her daughter and checking on her safety. Marilyn Kaze, the mother of Shaberiya Hill, told WSVN.com that women should not “fly out for a cheaper rate. It’s not worth your life.”

Both women visited the center on March 15th for a BBL and both were treated by the same doctor. The owner of Seduction, Luis Jardon, said the women suffered from complications that are known results of BBL surgery. The doctor who performed the surgeries, Dr. James McAdoo, released a statement through his attorney. The statement said:

“Dr. McAdoo is understanding and shares the families’ concerns over the health of their daughters. Dr. McAdoo takes every possible precaution medically necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of his patients. Every cosmetic procedure carries with it certain risks and possible complications. Dr. McAdoo is unable to discuss the specifics of each patient’s care and treatment due to patient privacy laws.”

The medical incidents are still being reviewed by law enforcement officials. Patients are advised to do proper research before making the final choice of a doctor to perform cosmetic surgery, or any other type of surgery on their bodies.
