Actress Stephanie March, best known for “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” is opening up to the public about her problems in the past with breast augmentation. March had the procedure in 2014 and she has admitted that one of the reasons she underwent the augmentation was her marriage troubles with celebrity chef Bobby Flay. At the same time as her marriage troubles, March felt that her career was on a downward swing and didn’t appear to be on the way back up anytime soon.
According to March, nothing was helping fix her marriage troubles including therapy, dinner with friends and patience when dealing with Flay. She finally decided to do one last thing in an attempt to address and fix her problems. Unfortunately, she decided to take a step that is never recommended when it comes to the final decision to have plastic surgery. She decided to make a change in her body because she didn’t seem to be able to change anything else in her life. Her breast augmentation was not enough to save her marriage as she divorced Flay in 2015 after numerous stories about Flay cheating on her with other women surfaced on many occasions.
March says she was actually happy with her new breasts until October of last year. She woke up one morning and felt wet mucus running down her chest. The mucus was all over her shirt and the sheets of her bed because her right implant had become infected and the right breast burst and began leaking. March started an antibiotics treatment plan which meant she had a hole in her right breast for six weeks while she took the medicine. The implant was replaced and later became infected and burst again on Christmas Eve.
Why did March have so many problems with her implants? She later discovered that she was allergic to the implants and ended up having them permanently removed. March is now in a better place in her life as she has a new boyfriend who has seen her breasts as well as its scars. Thankfully, the new man in her life sees past the scars and doesn’t seem to mind them at all. Thanks to the removal of her implants and a new love in her life, March says she is looking forward to enjoying the summer of 2016 with family and friends and has a new positive attitude about her life.
