Can Surgery Help You Look Like A Celebrity?

There are some celebrities whose looks inspire their fans to try and look like just like the star. From the hair and makeup to the clothing styles, the super fans of celebs attempt to capture the look of their celebrity obsession. Some fans take it one step further by having plastic surgery to get the facial appearance of their favorite superstars.  In fact, there are some fans who try and look like celebrities that aren’t even humans beings.

Justin Jedlica loved playing with Ken Dolls when he was a little boy. In fact, he loved Ken Dolls so much that he decided to look like a Ken Doll when he became an adult. Jedlica has spent almost $200,000 on plastic surgery to transform his looks into a human version of Ken. The results were mixed as Justin’s face looks to be made out of plastic but not very much like Ken. However, Justin has stated that he loves his new look and considers it to be a modern piece of art.

Pixee Fox is a model who is a big fan of Jessica Rabbit. This Fox spent over $120,000 to look like the cartoon rabbit. The money she spent included having six of her ribs removed to make her waist look as tiny as Jessica’s cartoon waist. Pixee has stated that the goal with the surgery was to get the exaggerated feminine look of the animated character.

Not all fans want to look like cartoon characters and dolls. For example, Jordan James Parke is like any other normal guy who wants to look like one of the most famous women in the world. Parke has spent close to $150,000 in an attempt to look like Kim Kardashian. The work on his body has included a nose job, 50 lip filler procedures, Botox, laser hair removal, chin shaving and eyebrow tattoos.  Since Parke is a guy and doesn’t have the hair of Kim Kardashian, he has chosen to go with a bald look in place of Kim’s long hair.

One of the odder cases of wanting to look like a celebrity belongs to Ashley Horn. Horn has spent in the range of $25,000 on five surgeries to look like Lindsay Lohan. Horn had fat taken from various parts of her body and injected into her cheeks and chin to try and look like Lindsay. What makes Horn’s story odd is the fact that she is Lohan’s half-sister since they share the same father!

A woman in her 30s from England decided she wanted to spend her money to look like a certain singer as well as sing the songs of the celebrity in public. Donna Trego spent almost $100,000 to look like Lady Gaga. The $100,000 wasn’t simply spent on plastic surgery procedures. Trego also invested in tattoos and costumes similar to those sported by Gaga.

If a person wants to look like a famous celebrity known by everyone around the world, Superman is certainly someone who is known across the globe. In the late 1990s, Hebert Chavez made it his mission to look like the character who stands for truth, justice and the American way. Chavez had a series of plastic surgeries to change his skin tone, chin, hair and cheeks. This Superman fan from the Philippines loves his transformation and even dresses up in a Superman costume so people can take photos with him.

Mikki Jay (much like the Lady Gaga fan earlier in this article) decided to look like her musical idol. Jay has undergone a number of surgeries to look like Michael Jackson in his later years. Jay now performs the music of Michael Jackson while looking like the very pale Jackson of his final years complete with a rebuilt nose.

While it has been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, some of these super fans might have gone a little overboard in their attempts to look like their favorite celebrities. As the looks and styles of the celebrities listed above (at least the human celebrities) change and evolve over the years, the fans who had surgery to resemble the stars will remain the same thanks to their surgeries. It remains to be seen if the super fans will undergo even more procedures in order to match the latest look of their favorite celebrity.
